About The Position
BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) with a passion for intentional, one-to-one care to join its Washington County skilled nursing team. The role provides compassionate, high-quality care to clients and their families in clients’ homes. Nurses travel to one nearby client home according to a schedule they choose and provide hands-on care to one client, with opportunities to build relationships and observe client milestones. Clients range in age from infants to geriatric patients. Private duty nursing offers traditional shifts of 4, 8, or 10 hours. BAYADA offers weekly pay, flexible scheduling based on availability, short commutes, and PTO. Benefits may depend on employment type.
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited and approved nursing program, as indicated by a school transcript or diploma.
- Hold a current nursing license in good standing in the state.
Responsibilities
- Travel to one client’s home near you on a schedule you choose.
- Follow up on, carry out, and properly document doctors’ orders.
- Perform assessments and monitor clients’ conditions.
- Document observations, interventions, and evaluations.
- Provide hands-on one-to-one care and build relationships with clients.
