About The Position

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) with a passion for intentional, one-to-one care to join its Allegheny County skilled nursing team. The role provides compassionate, high-quality care to clients and their families in clients’ homes. Private duty nursing offers traditional shifts of 4, 8, or 10 hours, hands-on care with one client, and the opportunity to build client relationships and observe their milestones. Clients range in age from infants to geriatric patients. Nurses travel to one nearby client home and choose a schedule based on their availability.

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited and approved nursing program, as indicated by a school transcript or diploma.
• A current nursing license in good standing in the state.

Responsibilities

• Follow up on doctors’ orders, carry them out, and document them properly.
• Perform assessments and monitor clients’ conditions.
• Document observations, interventions, and evaluations.
• Travel to one client’s home near the nurse on a chosen schedule.
• Provide hands-on, one-to-one care and build relationships with clients.
