About The Position

Provides and supervises direct and indirect nursing care to pediatric, adolescent, and geriatric patients under the general supervision of a registered nurse. Maintains overall departmental operations in accordance with the facility’s mission and philosophy. Participates in and maintains performance improvement activities to assure the highest standards of care. The role is based at Emanuel County Hospital Authority in Swainsboro, Georgia, and is a full-time day-shift position beginning at 7 a.m. The position has a moderate expected exposure to blood-borne pathogens. Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited Practical Nursing Program.
• Hold a current license from the State Board of Nursing.
• Hold current BCLS certification.
• Be able to think and work effectively under stress and with frequent interruptions.
• Be able to move, sit, stand, walk, and bend intermittently throughout the workday.
• Be able to lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.
• Possess adequate sight and hearing, or use prosthetics that enable these senses to function adequately for the position’s requirements.
• Be able to perform essential job functions unaided or with reasonable accommodation, as determined case by case.

Responsibilities
