About The Position
Saint Clare's Health is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse for its Med Surg team. The Licensed Practical Nurse provides direct and indirect patient care services requiring technical and manual skills within the scope of practice. The role addresses patients' psychosocial, physical, and general care needs and meets the communication needs of patients and their families. The nurse performs under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse.
Requirements
- Current and valid state license as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
- Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.
Nice To Haves
- At least one year of experience in an applicable setting is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct and indirect patient care within the scope of practice using technical and manual skills.
- Address patients’ psychosocial, physical, and general care needs.
- Meet the communication needs of patients and their families.
- Perform under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse.
