About The Position

The Licensed Vocational Nurse/Licensed Psychiatric Technician provides direct and indirect patient care services requiring technical and manual skills within the scope of practice. Care addresses patients’ psychosocial, physical, and general needs and supports communication with patients and their families. The position works under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse. In the ER setting, the nurse demonstrates knowledge of EMTALA regulations and the triage process.

Requirements

• Current and valid state license as a Licensed Vocational Nurse.
• Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• IV certification upon hire.

Nice To Haves

• Blood Withdrawal (BW) certification preferred.

Responsibilities
