About The Position
The Licensed Vocational Nurse provides direct and indirect patient care services requiring technical and manual skills within the scope of practice. The role supports patients’ psychosocial, physical, and general care needs and addresses communication needs of patients and their families. The nurse performs under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse.
Requirements
- Current and valid state license as a Licensed Vocational Nurse.
- Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current certification.
- IV certification upon hire.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct and indirect patient care within the scope of practice.
- Address patients’ psychosocial, physical, and general care needs.
- Meet the communication needs of patients and their families.
- Perform duties under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse.
