About The Position

The Registered Nurse plans and supervises nursing care for acutely ill pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients in designated units, in accordance with standards governing the facility. The role maintains overall departmental operations in keeping with the facility’s mission and philosophy and participates in performance-improvement activities to support high standards of care. The position is located at Emanuel County Hospital Authority in Swainsboro, Georgia. Salary is undisclosed.

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current license by the State Board of Nursing.
• Ability to think and work effectively under stress and with frequent interruptions.
• Ability to move, sit, stand, walk, and bend intermittently throughout the workday.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Must have adequate sight and hearing, naturally or with prosthetics, to perform the position’s requirements.
• Use of mechanical and technical equipment required for assigned responsibilities.
• Must be able to perform essential job functions, unaided or with reasonable accommodation determined case by case.

Nice To Haves

• Current ACLS certification is preferred.
