About The Position
Helping Hand Nurse, LLC, a home health care agency providing medical and non-medical services, is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to care for pediatric patients in their homes. The nurse provides one-to-one care and follows the plan of care and directions from the clinical team. Available shifts include days, evenings, and overnights. The employer is willing to work with the employee’s schedule and offers part-time or full-time hours, with the option to work as few or as many hours as desired.
Requirements
- LPN license.
- Clean background, criminal record, and child abuse background with fingerprints.
- CPR certification.
- Knowledge of computerized documentation and office software.
Responsibilities
- Provide one-to-one care in the home.
- Take directions from the clinical team.
- Follow the plan of care.
- Direct and guide patient and family teaching and activities while maintaining standards of care.
- Communicate with the physician about changes in the patient’s clinical condition.
- Respond quickly and accurately to changes in the patient’s condition and/or response to treatment.
- Follow all clinical and office policies.
