About The Position
Helping Hand Nurse, LLC, a home health care agency providing medical and non-medical services, is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to care for pediatric patients in their homes. The role provides one-to-one care and follows the plan of care and directions from the clinical team. Available schedules include days, evenings, or overnights. The agency is willing to work with the employee’s schedule and offers part-time or full-time hours, with as few or as many hours as desired.
Requirements
- Hold an LPN license.
- Have a clean background, criminal record, and child abuse background check with fingerprints.
- Be CPR certified.
- Have knowledge of computerized documentation and office software.
Responsibilities
- Provide one-to-one care in the home.
- Take directions from the clinical team and follow the plan of care.
- Direct and guide patient and family teaching and activities while maintaining standards of care.
- Communicate with the physician about changes in the patient's clinical condition.
- Respond quickly and accurately to changes in the patient's condition or response to treatment.
- Follow all clinical and office policies.
