About The Position

Helping Hand Nurse, LLC, a home health care agency providing medical and non-medical services, is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to provide one-to-one care to pediatric patients in their homes. Available shifts include days, evenings, and overnights. The employer is willing to work with the employee's schedule and offers part-time or full-time hours, with the employee able to choose as few or as many hours as desired.

Requirements

• Hold an LPN license.
• Have a clean background, criminal record, and child abuse background check with fingerprints.
• Be CPR certified.
• Have knowledge of computerized documentation and office software.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one care in the home.
• Take directions from the clinical team and follow the plan of care.
• Direct and guide patient and family teaching and activities while maintaining standards of care.
• Communicate with the physician about changes in the patient's clinical condition.
• Respond quickly and accurately to changes in the patient's condition and/or response to treatment.
• Follow all clinical and office policies.
