About The Position
Helping Hand Nurse, LLC, a home health care agency providing medical and nonmedical services, is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide care to home health care patients. The role offers morning, day, evening, or overnight shifts, with scheduling that can be tailored to the employee’s availability and a choice of part-time or full-time hours. Compensation is $30–$38, based on experience, for 1099 contract work. Candidates working as 1099 contractors must have a registered company with an EIN/Tax ID number, general liability insurance, and a workers’ compensation insurance policy.
Requirements
- LPN license.
- Clean background and criminal record.
- CPR certification.
- Knowledge of computerized documentation and office software.
- For 1099 contract work: a registered company with an EIN/Tax ID number, general liability insurance, and a workers’ compensation insurance policy.
Responsibilities
- Provide one-to-one nursing care in the home.
- Follow the LPN plan of care.
- Direct and guide patient and family teaching and activities while maintaining standards of care.
- Communicate with the physician about changes in the patient’s clinical condition.
- Follow all clinical and office policies.
