About The Position
Helping Hand Nurse, LLC, a home health care agency providing medical and non-medical services, is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to care for pediatric patients in their homes. The role provides one-to-one home care and involves following the plan of care, taking direction from the clinical team, and communicating with the physician about changes in the patient’s clinical condition. Days, evenings, and overnight shifts are available. The agency offers flexible scheduling and can accommodate employees seeking either part-time or full-time hours, with as few or as many hours as desired.
Requirements
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license.
- Clean background, criminal record, and child abuse background, with fingerprints.
- CPR certification.
- Knowledge of computerized documentation and office software.
Responsibilities
- Provide one-to-one care in the home.
- Take directions from the clinical team.
- Follow the plan of care.
- Direct and guide patient and family teaching and activities while maintaining standards of care.
- Communicate with the physician about changes in the patient’s clinical condition.
- Respond quickly and accurately to changes in the patient’s condition or response to treatment.
- Follow all clinical and office policies.
