About The Position

EmmUcare Home Health is seeking dependable, compassionate caregivers to provide non-medical, one-on-one support to clients in their homes in Carlisle, Pennsylvania. The role helps clients remain comfortable, supported, and independent while building respectful relationships with clients and their families. Caregivers follow individual care plans, receive onboarding guidance and training, and can discuss their availability with the team to explore suitable client assignments. The position includes personal care, mobility assistance, meal preparation, light housekeeping, companionship, medication reminders, and reporting and documenting care. Caregivers use a smartphone and an electronic visit verification system to record tasks and clock in and out. Previous caregiving experience is welcome but not required. Starting compensation is $11–$13 per hour, depending on the assignment and approved offer, with biweekly pay.

Dependability and clear communication with clients and the office team.
Ability to perform assigned care duties safely, with training and support.
Reliable transportation to assigned visits.
Ability to use a smartphone for timekeeping.

Responsibilities

Follow each client’s care plan.
Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene.
Support toileting and incontinence care while preserving client dignity.
Assist with mobility and transfers as directed in the care plan.
Prepare meals and help with light housekeeping and laundry.
Provide companionship, conversation, and encouragement.
Offer medication reminders according to the care plan.
Report changes in a client’s condition or needs to the office.
Record completed care tasks and clock in and out using the electronic visit verification system.
