About The Position

EmmUcare Home Health is seeking dependable, compassionate caregivers to provide non-medical, one-on-one support to clients in their homes in Montoursville, Pennsylvania. The role helps clients remain comfortable, supported, and independent while building respectful relationships with them and their families. Caregivers follow each client’s care plan and receive onboarding guidance, training, and support from the office team. The position offers flexible scheduling based on caregiver and client availability. Starting pay is $11–$13 per hour, depending on the assignment and approved offer, with biweekly pay. Benefits include a 401(k) retirement plan and voluntary insurance options, including dental, vision, and PPO health insurance.

Requirements

Demonstrate compassion, patience, and respect for each client’s privacy and preferences.
Be dependable and communicate clearly with clients and the office team.
Be able to perform assigned care duties safely, with training and support.
Have reliable transportation to assigned visits.
Be able to use a smartphone for timekeeping.

Previous caregiving experience is welcome but not required.

Responsibilities

Follow each client’s care plan.
Assist clients with bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene.
Support toileting and incontinence care while preserving clients’ dignity.
Assist with mobility and transfers as directed in the care plan.
Prepare meals and help with light housekeeping and laundry.
Provide companionship, conversation, and encouragement.
Offer medication reminders according to the care plan.
Report changes in a client’s condition or needs to the office.
Record completed care tasks and clock in and out using the electronic visit verification system.
