About The Position
Comfort Keepers is seeking caring, dependable, and compassionate caregivers to provide quality in-home care to seniors in Montoursville, Pennsylvania. The role helps seniors maintain their independence, dignity, and comfort while remaining safely in their homes. The position offers hourly pay of $10.75 to $13.00 and flexible daytime and weekend shifts, with part-time and full-time schedules available. Paid training is provided, including training on assistive equipment such as Hoyer lifts and sit-to-stand devices.
Requirements
- Take a compassionate, patient, and respectful approach to senior care.
- Have a valid driver's license and reliable personal transportation.
- Pass a background check and maintain dependable attendance.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in personal care, direct care, or family caregiving is preferred.
- CNA, HHA, and experienced caregivers are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with bathing, dressing, grooming, and daily personal hygiene.
- Support safe mobility, repositioning, and transfers.
- Prepare nutritious meals and perform light housekeeping.
- Provide companionship and emotional support, including to seniors experiencing memory changes or recovering from health setbacks.
- Build trusting relationships with clients and their families through compassionate and dependable care.
