LPN - 1:1 Nurse
About The Position
BAYADA’s Horsham Adult Office is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with a passion for adult care to join its Skilled Nursing team. The nurse will provide one-to-one private-duty care to a 20-year-old client in Eagleville who has C1-C4 complete quadriplegia following a motor vehicle accident. The client is involved in his care and routine, and the role supports him and his family with compassionate, reliable care. Day, evening, and overnight shifts are available. Private-duty nursing involves traditional 8-, 10-, or 12-hour shifts, hands-on care for one client per day, and building relationships with the client while observing milestones. Nurses travel to one nearby client on a schedule they choose and are empowered to perform skills autonomously in the home. No weekend requirements are specified. BAYADA provides onboarding and training from Day 1, along with support from Clinical Managers and office staff. Pay is up to $32 per hour.
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited and approved nursing program, as indicated by school transcript or diploma.
- A current nursing license in good standing in the state.
Responsibilities
- Follow up on, execute, and properly document doctors’ orders.
- Perform assessments and monitor the client’s condition.
- Document observations, interventions, and evaluations.
- Provide hands-on, one-to-one care in the client’s home.
- Travel to one client near the nurse on a chosen schedule.
