LPN/RN - Evenings TCU - Westwood Ridge II
About The Position
As a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at Vivie, you’ll be at the heart of the community, leading clinical teams and delivering compassionate patient care while fostering meaningful connections. Whether supervising staff, coordinating complex care plans, or directly supporting patients and families, you’ll help residents live each day with dignity, independence, and the highest quality of life. The role is part-time, hourly, non-exempt, and scheduled for evenings. It is in the Nursing department and does not include supervisory responsibilities. The position receives leadership from the Director of Nursing or Clinical Care. Pay is $38.00–$45.00 per hour for an RN or $27.50–$34.00 per hour for an LPN, based on experience, qualifications, and location.
Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in Minnesota.
- Obtain CPR certification within six months of hire.
- Clear and compassionate communication abilities.
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance and clinical best practices.
- Proficiency in English to communicate effectively with residents, team members, and families.
- Ability to pass the state-mandated background check.
- Physical capability to perform all essential job functions.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in long-term care, acute care, or rehabilitation.
Responsibilities
- Implement and uphold clinical standards through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
- Coordinate patient care needs with internal and external services and ensure accurate clinical documentation.
- Initiate preventative and rehabilitative nursing procedures.
- Observe and report changes in patients’ conditions.
- Reach, supervise, and counsel patients to promote optimal health and safety.
- Help create an environment that provides high-quality physical, mental, emotional, social, and spiritual care while promoting patient independence and dignity.
- Establish effective communication with patients.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
