About The Position

Vivie is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide nursing care at Westwood Ridge II. In this role, the nurse will uphold clinical standards, coordinate care, deliver direct patient support, and help residents maintain dignity, independence, and quality of life. The position is part-time, hourly, non-exempt, and scheduled for evenings. The role is not supervisory, although it involves coordinating care and may include supervising staff as appropriate to the work described.

Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of Minnesota.
• CPR certification within six months of hire.
• Clear and compassionate communication abilities.
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance and clinical best practices.
• Proficiency in English to communicate effectively with residents, team members, and families.
• Ability to pass a state-mandated background check.
• Physical capability to perform all essential job functions.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in long-term care, acute care, or rehabilitation is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implement and uphold clinical standards using the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Coordinate patient care needs with internal and external services and ensure accurate clinical documentation.
• Initiate preventative and rehabilitative nursing procedures.
• Observe and report changes in patients’ conditions.
• Reach, supervise, and counsel patients to promote health and safety.
• Help create an environment supporting high-quality physical, mental, emotional, social, and spiritual care while promoting patient independence and dignity.
• Establish effective communication with patients.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
