About The Position

Fargo Elim, a Cassia Community, is hiring an RN or LPN to join its 20-bed Transitional Care Unit (TCU). The nurse provides compassionate, high-quality care to short-stay residents as they recover and transition home or to another level of care. The role includes administering medications and collaborating with a dedicated team to support positive outcomes. The ideal candidate is skilled, dependable, team-oriented, and committed to enhancing the lives of older adults.

This is a full-time night-shift position from 6:30 p.m. to 7:00 a.m., located at 3534 University Drive S, Fargo, North Dakota.

Requirements

• Current RN or LPN license in North Dakota.
• IV certified or currently enrolled in an IV certification course.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Self-starter with a desire to be part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Treat residents, families, and staff with courtesy and respect.
• Coordinate, oversee, and provide resident-related care.
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and monitor their effectiveness and residents’ responses.
• Manage medications, supplies, and equipment, including ordering, receiving, storing, and disposing of items in accordance with policies and procedures.
• Document care using computerized medication administration and charting software.
• Notify the Clinical Manager, attending physicians, and family members of significant changes in a resident’s condition, and take necessary follow-up action.
• Perform additional duties as required.
