About The Position

Phoenix Home Care & Hospice is hiring LPNs and RNs for Private Duty Nursing (PDN) in Joplin and surrounding communities. This role offers a different way to practice nursing, focusing on meaningful 1:1 care with one patient and one family, away from the demands of a hospital setting. The position provides consistent cases and schedules, with opportunities for supplemental income, particularly on weekends and overnights. Premium pay is offered for specific shifts, and the company provides paid training and clinical support.

Requirements

• LPN or RN license
• Ability to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday 8 am-6 pm) or other shifts as needed.
• Willingness to work with pediatric to young adult patients.

Nice To Haves

• Pediatric experience is a plus.
• Experience with the PDN side of nursing.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 patient care in a home setting.
• Work with pediatric to young adult patients.
• Offer meaningful 1:1 care to one patient and one family.
• Adapt to patient needs and provide clinical support.
