About The Position
Phoenix Home Care & Hospice is hiring LPNs and RNs for Private Duty Nursing (PDN) in Joplin and surrounding communities. This role offers a different way to practice nursing, focusing on 1:1 patient care rather than the hospital environment. It provides an opportunity for consistent supplemental income, with flexible scheduling options including weekdays, weekends, and overnights. The position emphasizes meaningful 1:1 care with one patient and one family at a time.
Requirements
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN)
- Ability to work with pediatric to young adult patients.
- Willingness to work with a flexible schedule, including potential weekdays, weekends, or overnights.
- Desire for consistent supplemental income.
Nice To Haves
- Pediatric experience is a plus.
- Experience with the PDN side of nursing.
Responsibilities
- Provide 1:1 patient care in a home setting.
- Offer meaningful care to one patient and their family.
- Work consistent cases and schedules.
- Provide care during weekdays, weekends, or overnights based on schedule.
