About The Position
Phoenix Home Care & Hospice is hiring LPNs and RNs for private duty nursing in Joplin and surrounding communities. This role offers a different way to practice nursing, focusing on 1:1 patient care with one patient and one family, rather than the fast-paced hospital environment. It's an opportunity to provide meaningful care and earn consistent supplemental income, with flexible scheduling options for weekdays, weekends, or overnights. The company emphasizes making a difference one patient at a time.
Requirements
- Licensed LPN or RN.
- Ability to work weekends and/or overnights.
- Willingness to work a consistent schedule.
- Must be able to work Saturday 8 am-9 pm and Sunday 7:30 am-9 pm.
Nice To Haves
- Pediatric experience is a plus.
- Experience in the PDN (Private Duty Nursing) side of nursing.
Responsibilities
- Provide 1:1 patient care in a home setting.
- Work with pediatric to young adult patients.
- Offer consistent cases and schedules.
- Provide care on weekends and/or overnights.
