About The Position
Phoenix Home Care & Hospice is hiring LPNs and RNs for Private Duty Nursing (PDN) in Joplin and surrounding communities. This role offers a different way to practice nursing, focusing on 1:1 patient care with one patient and one family, away from the demands of a hospital setting. The position provides consistent cases and schedules, with opportunities for supplemental income and flexible scheduling to accommodate existing jobs. Premium pay is offered for overnight and weekend shifts.
Requirements
- LPN or RN license
- Willingness to work weekdays, weekends, or overnights.
- Ability to provide 1:1 patient care.
Nice To Haves
- Pediatric experience is a plus.
- Experience in the PDN side of nursing.
Responsibilities
- Provide meaningful 1:1 care to one patient and their family.
- Offer consistent care and maintain a consistent schedule.
- Work weekdays, weekends, or overnights based on availability and preference.
- Provide nursing care in a home setting.
