LPN Charge Nurse - PRN - Day

About The Position
Waycross Health & Rehab is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to provide high-quality, compassionate, person-centered care to residents. The nurse works closely with RNs, CNAs, and the interdisciplinary team to support residents’ well-being and ensure care is delivered in accordance with care plans, clinical policies, and regulatory standards. This is a PRN day-shift role. Starting pay is $28.49 to $31.40 per hour, with shift differentials for evenings, nights, and weekends, management add-on pay, and weekly pay.
Requirements
- Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in Georgia or eligibility for one.
- Passion for delivering compassionate, high-quality care.
- Strong clinical judgment and critical-thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Reliability and commitment to excellence.
Nice To Haves
- Prior long-term care experience is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Monitor residents’ conditions and report changes to the care team.
- Provide direct nursing care in accordance with care plans.
- Supervise and support CNAs in delivering quality care.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
- Ensure compliance with clinical policies and regulatory standards.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members.
