About The Position
Waycross Health & Rehab is seeking a PRN day-shift LPN Charge Nurse to provide compassionate, person-centered clinical care and support residents’ well-being. The nurse works closely with RNs, CNAs, and the interdisciplinary team, supervises and supports CNAs, and ensures care is delivered in accordance with care plans, clinical policies, and regulatory standards. The posted starting pay is $28.49 to $31.40 per hour. Shift differentials are available for evenings, nights, and weekends, along with management add-on pay and weekly pay.
Requirements
- Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the State of Georgia or eligibility to obtain one.
- Passion for delivering compassionate, high-quality care.
- Strong clinical judgment and critical-thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Reliability and a commitment to excellence.
Nice To Haves
- Prior long-term care experience is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Monitor residents’ conditions and report changes to the care team.
- Provide direct nursing care in accordance with care plans.
- Supervise and support CNAs in delivering quality care.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
- Ensure compliance with clinical policies and regulatory standards.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members.
