About The Position

Columbia Cottage is seeking compassionate and skilled LPN Charge Nurses to join its assisted living team in Linglestown, Pennsylvania. The role oversees clinical operations and nursing staff during a shift while also providing direct nursing care and supporting high-quality, compassionate care for residents. Nurses assess residents, monitor changes in condition, document care and progress, and communicate with residents, families, and care teams. The position offers a starting rate of $31.00 per hour and is available part-time. The listed schedule is 11:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m., with every-other-weekend and holiday rotation.

Requirements

• Active LPN license (required); RN candidates are welcome to apply.
• First Aid certification.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Passion for caring for seniors in an assisted living setting.
• Strong time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily clinical operations and nursing staff on shift.
• Provide direct nursing care in accordance with physician direction.
• Assess residents and monitor changes in condition.
• Accurately document care, treatments, and progress.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and care teams.
• Support and collaborate with fellow nursing staff.
• Ensure high-quality, compassionate care is consistently delivered.
