The role contributes to nursing assessment and establishment of nursing diagnoses, participates in care plan development and evaluation, and provides care in accordance with established nursing and unit or department standards. The position calls for critical thinking, problem-solving, willingness to learn, strong communication, compassion, and teamwork. The unit supports staff learning and continued education.
