About The Position

BAYADA’s Upstate Skilled Office is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with a passion for home care to join its Skilled Private Duty Nursing team. The position provides one-to-one care in a client’s home. Nurses receive onboarding and virtual and hands-on training, and the office hosts nurse appreciation events throughout the year. The schedule is flexible, with opportunities for days, afternoons, evenings, or nights; this posting is for an evening nurse. Requirements

Graduate from an accredited and approved nursing program, as indicated by a school transcript or diploma.
Hold a current nursing license in good standing in the state.

Responsibilities

Travel to one nearby client’s home on a schedule chosen in coordination with the office.
Follow up on, execute, and properly document doctors’ orders.
Perform assessments and monitor clients’ conditions.
Document observations, interventions, and evaluations.
