About The Position

Embassy Suites Brunswick is seeking a Lounge Manager to organize, manage, and direct the hotel’s lounge and beverage departments. The role focuses on generating profit to meet or exceed budget, achieving top-line revenue goals, and containing costs. This is a tipped position in which the manager leads a small team and also works at the bar.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Two years of restaurant experience.
Ability to read, write, and speak basic English.
Basic computer skills.
Basic math skills.
Ability to stay organized and clean and maintain tidy areas.

Nice To Haves

Some experience with restaurant computer systems and Excel is useful.

Responsibilities

Plan and set menu and special pricing in coordination with the F&B Director, Restaurant Manager, and General Manager, in accordance with business and pricing strategies.
Develop creative menu ideas that are market-driven.
Ensure beverage quality daily by checking ingredient quality and ensuring recipes meet standards.
Maximize revenue and control costs.
Monitor progress against hotel and department expectations.
Manage a small team and work at the bar.
