About The Position
Embassy Suites Brunswick is seeking a Lounge Manager to organize, manage, and direct the hotel’s lounge and beverage departments. The role focuses on generating profit to meet or exceed budget, achieving top-line revenue goals, and containing costs. This is a tipped position. The manager will lead a small team and also work at the bar.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED, plus two years of restaurant experience.
- Ability to read, write, and speak basic English.
- Basic computer skills.
- Basic math skills.
- Organized, with experience cleaning and keeping areas tidy.
Nice To Haves
- Some experience with restaurant computer systems and Excel is useful.
Responsibilities
- Plan and set pricing for menus and specials in coordination with the F&B Director, Restaurant Manager, and GM, in line with business and pricing strategies.
- Develop creative, market-driven menu ideas.
- Maintain daily beverage quality by ensuring ingredient quality and adherence to recipe standards.
- Maximize revenue, control costs, and monitor progress against hotel and department expectations.
- Manage a small team and work at the bar.
