About The Position

The Lounge Bartender sets up and stocks the bar with beer, wine, spirits, and paper products. The role includes greeting and engaging with guests in a courteous and friendly manner, following state, federal, and hotel requirements for alcohol service, and practicing prudent portion control. The bartender also performs closing duties, including cleaning the bar and lounge area.

Requirements

• At least one year of bartending experience.
• Flexible availability to work any shift, including holidays and weekends.
• Ability to communicate in English verbally and in writing.
• Comfort working with computers for cashiering duties.
• Ability to stand and walk for at least eight hours.
• Ability to lift and carry at least 30 pounds.
• TABC certification required.
• Food Handler certification required.
• Bartending License required.
• Certified Food Handler credential required.

Responsibilities

• Set up the bar and requisition and stock beer, wine, spirits, and paper products.
• Greet and engage with guests at the bar and lounge area in a courteous and friendly manner.
• Follow state, federal, and hotel requirements pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages and practice prudent portion control.
• Perform closing duties, including cleaning the bar and lounge area.
