About The Position

Windsor Hospitality is hiring a Lounge Bartender for Embassy Suites in Alpharetta, Georgia. The lounge provides a place for hotel guests to unwind, and the bartender is responsible for preparing and serving beverages while delivering warm, knowledgeable hospitality. The role includes managing bar setup and presentation, maintaining adequate supplies, processing payments, and complying with beverage-service laws and regulations. Schedules may vary based on business needs, and flexibility to work any day of the week, including weekends and holidays, may be required.

Requirements

Knowledge of cocktail preparation, wine, and beer service.
Ability to follow standard recipes consistently.
Basic math skills to total costs, process transactions, and make accurate change.
Physical stamina to stand or walk for extended periods throughout a shift.
Manual dexterity to handle glassware, dishes, money, and bar merchandise quickly and accurately.
Ability to lift and carry heavy trays and bar supplies as needed.
Flexibility to work any day of the week, including weekends and holidays, may be required.

Responsibilities

Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails and other beverages according to standard recipes.
Serve wine and draught or bottled beer to lounge guests.
Collect payment for drinks, make accurate change, and process transactions.
Order and requisition liquor and bar supplies to maintain adequate stock levels.
Arrange bottled goods and glassware to create an attractive, organized bar display.
Slice and pit fruit for drink garnishes as needed.
Prepare bar snacks and appetizers, such as pickles, cheese, and cold meats, as needed.
Comply with local, state, and federal laws and regulations governing beverage service.
Provide guests with knowledgeable information about hotel facilities, services, and local attractions.
