About The Position
The Lounge Bartender provides food and beverage service in the lounge and Moroccan lounge. The role includes welcoming guests, preparing and presenting beverages, maintaining lounge supplies and cleanliness, handling guest checks according to cashiering procedures, and prioritizing guest satisfaction. The bartender is expected to serve guests throughout the lounge, including those seated in the gardens, and to cooperate with guests and staff.
Requirements
- Experience in a full-service, high-quality bar, club, lounge, or restaurant.
- One to three years of experience in a related area, or a combination of experience and education that provides the skills required for the position.
- Fluency in English.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently.
- Meet management expectations for customer satisfaction and problem-solving attitude.
- Ability to be discreet.
- Willingness to learn.

Responsibilities
- Report to the department in compliance with the company’s dress code and appearance standards.
- Check with the manager for important information related to the hotel or department.
- Greet guests according to established standards.
- Apply food and beverage handling rules.
- Position liquor properly in the display.
- Cut garnishes and fill juice containers as needed.
- Check and adjust the music volume according to the number of guests in the lounge.
- Walk the lounge area, inside and outside, to collect dirty glasses and plates.
- Prepare accurate checks and follow cashiering procedures.
- Restock lounge fridges with items such as straws, glasses, cups, and condiments.
- Understand and follow department and hotel standards.
- Keep the lounge area clean, including coolers, floors and floor mats, drains, trash containers, sinks, back areas, cabinets, shelves, and counters.
- Retrieve food items from the kitchen.
- Collect dirty items and bring them to the dishwasher.
- Prioritize guest satisfaction and take the initiative to serve guests, including those seated in the gardens.
- Cooperate with guests and staff and help others.
