About The Position

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to bar and restaurant patrons while providing an excellent guest experience. The role involves preparing cocktails, presenting the bar menu, taking orders, serving snacks and drinks, making recommendations, and checking identification to confirm customers meet the legal drinking age. The bartender maintains a clean, organized, and stocked bar, replenishes inventory and supplies, follows food and beverage regulations, handles cash, and performs other duties as assigned by the manager or supervisor. This is a full-time position at Doubletree Schaumburg in Schaumburg, Illinois. Weekend coverage is required on Saturdays and Sundays, with scheduled hours from 4 p.m. to 11 p.m. Pay is $12–$15 per hour.

Requirements

Resume and proven working experience as a bartender.
Excellent knowledge of mixing, garnishing, and serving drinks.
Computer literacy.
Positive attitude and excellent communication skills.
Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked, and clean.
Relevant training certificate.

Knowledge of a second language.
