About The Position

The Logistics Specialist is a hands-on, active role combining warehouse work and local product deliveries. The position involves loading and unloading tires, preparing orders, supporting inventory and warehouse organization, and delivering products to customers while providing excellent customer service. The role also includes basic vehicle checks and keeping equipment clean. Work takes place in a warehouse and outdoors in varying weather conditions. Employees stay active throughout their shifts and may work a flexible schedule that includes some Saturdays. Equipment and vehicle operation must comply with applicable regulations and company safety policies; OSHA certification training for order pickers and forklifts is provided.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of warehouse, logistics, or relevant work experience.
• A valid driver’s license and a minimum of 2 years of driving history.
• Meet applicable federal and state requirements for vehicle operation, including any applicable DOT minimum age requirement.
• Be a team player with a strong work ethic.
• Ability to lift and move tires weighing up to 50 pounds frequently.
• Ability to stand, bend, and move throughout the shift.
• Ability to work comfortably at heights up to 35 feet on order pickers.
• Must not exceed 400 pounds in weight or 6 feet 3 inches in height to meet equipment and safety-restraint specifications; reasonable accommodations will be reviewed under the ADA and other relevant laws.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload tires in the warehouse.
• Deliver products to customers on local routes.
• Pick, pack, and stage orders accurately.
• Perform basic vehicle checks and keep equipment clean.
• Provide excellent customer service on every delivery.
• Assist with inventory and warehouse organization.
• Safely operate equipment and vehicles in accordance with applicable regulations.
• Follow all safety rules and company policies.
• Maintain a valid driver’s license and required certifications throughout employment.
