About The Position

L.L.Bean is hiring a temporary, part-time Sales Guide for the outdoor gear and apparel departments at its Evergreen Walk retail store in South Windsor, Connecticut. The Sales Guide delivers welcoming, personalized customer service, represents the L.L.Bean brand, supports sales and customer loyalty, and helps maintain store presentation and operations. The role is varied and requires adapting to daily business needs while working collaboratively with teammates and serving customers from a range of backgrounds.

Responsibilities

Approach and assist multiple customers, providing personal and genuine service.
Turn customer interactions into sales opportunities and build brand loyalty through exceptional service.

Listen to customers, identify their needs, and resolve problems efficiently at the first point of contact.
Use point-of-sale systems, customer systems, and mobile devices to provide fast, seamless omnichannel service.
Promote L.L.Bean programs, including the Outdoor Discovery School and L.L.Bean Mastercard program.
Maintain an organized store, uphold visual and merchandising standards, and support store operations processes.
Collaborate with the team to achieve results, maintain a positive work environment, and adapt to changing business needs.
Follow safety policies and procedures and contribute to a safe, healthy workplace.
