About The Position

Colonial Security Services is seeking a vigilant and experienced Logistics Gate Security Officer to maintain security protocols and support smooth operations at its logistics gate in Braselton, Georgia. The role involves monitoring gate traffic, verifying identities, inspecting vehicles, cargo, and personnel as needed, and enforcing company security policies. The officer also reports security concerns, works with security personnel and other departments, operates security equipment, assists with emergency response, and provides customer service to drivers and visitors.

The available schedule is Sunday through Thursday, 10 p.m. to 6 a.m.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent observational and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure.
• Familiarity with security equipment and procedures.
• Physical fitness and ability to stand or walk for extended periods.
• Flexibility to work shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Monitor incoming and outgoing traffic at the logistics gate.
• Verify the identity of drivers and visitors entering the premises.
• Conduct inspections of vehicles, cargo, and personnel as necessary.
• Enforce company security policies and procedures.
• Report security breaches, suspicious activities, and safety hazards to appropriate authorities.
• Collaborate with security personnel and other departments to maintain a secure environment.
• Operate security equipment, including CCTV cameras, metal detectors, and X-ray machines.
• Provide customer service to drivers and visitors while upholding security standards.
• Assist with emergency response procedures, including evacuations and crisis management.
