About The Position

Agilent Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Logistics Admin to coordinate inbound logistics for raw materials, intermediate, and finished goods, ensuring timely and accurate receipt. This role involves managing the handling of critical and regulated materials, including hazardous materials, in accordance with guidelines. The Logistics Admin will ensure full compliance with applicable regulatory requirements, including Good Documentation Practices (GDP) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), as well as internal quality and EHS standards. The position requires executing tasks based on Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and quality system documentation, and applying industry best practices for inventory management, material storage, reverse logistics, and medical device traceability. The role also involves prioritizing time-sensitive shipments and production orders to minimize disruption to supply chain operations. Flexibility to support operations, including working overtime, weekends, or alternate shifts as business needs dictate, is expected. The Logistics Admin will utilize enterprise systems, including Microsoft Office Suite and SAP ERP/MRP platforms, for inventory transactions and reporting. Implementation of Lean principles and 5S methodologies to maintain organized, efficient, and safe workspaces is also a key responsibility. The role requires operating powered industrial trucks (PITs) such as forklifts and vertical order pickers in compliance with safety training and certification requirements. Identifying and recommending process improvements, deviations, or corrective actions to enhance operational efficiency and compliance is expected. The position also involves cross-training across departments, supporting Inventory Control, Factory Support, and other logistics functions as needed. Effective written communication skills, including composing professional emails and documenting operational activities, are essential. Collaboration using digital communication tools, such as Microsoft Teams, for real-time messaging, file sharing, and team coordination is also part of the role.

Requirements

  • May require some higher education or specialized training/certification, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Typically 1+ years of relevant experience for entry to this level.
  • Effective written communication skills, including composing professional emails and documenting operational activities.
  • Ability to collaborate using digital communication tools, such as Microsoft Teams, for real-time messaging, file sharing, and team coordination.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and SAP ERP/MRP platforms.
  • Ability to operate powered industrial trucks (PITs) such as forklifts, and vertical order pickers in compliance with safety training and certification requirements.
