About The Position

The Logistics Account Specialist will join the rapidly expanding Enterprise Special Services team and help improve the shipper experience for vendors and sellers using Inbound Transportation. The role evaluates network shipper defects and drives improvements through shipper coaching and performance management. The specialist works directly with shippers to develop solutions and improve performance metrics. This is a contract-to-hire position based fully onsite in Tempe, Arizona.

Requirements

• Account management or customer service skills.
• Excel proficiency, including familiarity with spreadsheets and the ability to navigate and interpret data.
• Problem-solving skills.
• Understanding of transportation, intermodal, and supply chain operations.
• Relationship-building, organizational, communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
• Experience managing disruptions as they occur.
• Supply chain technical skills.
• Understanding of basic data analytics.
• Ability to write documents, such as process improvement proposals.

Nice To Haves

• Two years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or a related field is preferred.
• Experience in industries represented among top performers, including party planning, event coordination, real estate, sales, or restaurants.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, verify, and present data daily.
• Address transportation disruptions and other barriers in real time.
• Identify root causes of transportation defects.
• Maintain daily logs for assigned shippers.
• Lead weekly calls with assigned shippers.
• Lead daily business review stand-up calls.
