About The Position

The Enterprise Special Services team is seeking an Account Specialist to improve the shipper experience for vendors and sellers using Inbound Transportation. The role evaluates network shipper defects and drives improvement through shipper coaching and performance management. The specialist works directly with shippers to develop solutions and improve shipper performance metrics. This is a contract-to-hire position based onsite in Tempe, Arizona.

Requirements

• Skills in account management or customer service.
• Proficiency in Excel, including familiarity with spreadsheets and the ability to navigate and interpret data.
• Problem-solving skills.
• Understanding of transportation, intermodal, and supply chain.
• Good relationship-building and organizational skills.
• Effective communication skills.
• Experience managing disruptions as they occur.
• Supply chain technical skills.
• Understanding of basic data analytics.
• Interpersonal and customer service skills.

Nice To Haves

• Two years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or related fields preferred.
• Experience writing documents such as process improvement proposals.
• Experience in party planning, event coordination, real estate, sales, or restaurants is noted among top performers.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, verify, and present data daily.
• Overcome transportation disruptions and other barriers in real time.
• Identify root causes of transportation defects.
• Maintain daily logs for assigned shippers.
• Lead weekly calls with assigned shippers.
• Lead daily business review stand-up calls.
