About The Position

American Security & Investigations is hiring a Security Guard in Tempe, Arizona. The role serves and protects community buildings and facilities by patrolling assigned locations, investigating and reporting hazards or suspicious circumstances, securing doors and windows, enforcing rules and regulations, and responding to alarms. The listed hourly rate is $18.30–$20.00. Full-time schedules are Wednesday through Sunday, either 2 p.m.–10 p.m. or 10 p.m.–6 a.m. A part-time flex position is also available, requiring open availability across shifts and days. Previous security experience is preferred. The role includes physical activities such as walking and patrolling, climbing stairs, and performing CPR. A pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check are required.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have an Arizona Guard Card.
• Must be able to speak English for safety reasons.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
• Must be able to meet physical requirements, including walking and patrolling, climbing stairs, and performing CPR.
