About The Position

This contract role is designed for an Associate-level physician who is ready to make an immediate impact within the Medical Practice industry while delivering high-quality patient care. As a Locum Radiology physician, you will join a collaborative healthcare environment where your clinical expertise helps guide diagnostic decisions and treatment planning. In this Associate-level role, you will work directly with referring providers and clinical teams, cover a variety of radiology studies, and ensure accurate interpretation. This is an on-site assignment, allowing you to work efficiently alongside our established medical team in Clayton.

Requirements

  • MD (Medical Doctor) or DO (Osteopathic Doctor) degree from an accredited medical school.
  • Associate-level clinical experience in diagnostic radiology or a related clinical setting.
  • Successful completion of a diagnostic radiology residency program.
  • Active, unrestricted medical licensure, or eligibility to obtain licensure, in the relevant jurisdiction.
  • Strong diagnostic interpretation skills across a range of imaging modalities.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, with referring physicians, staff, and patients.
  • Ability to work on-site at the Clayton location on a contract basis.
  • Team-oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate in a fast-paced Medical Practice environment.
  • Meticulous attention to detail in documentation, reporting, and radiation safety.
  • Familiarity with quality assurance processes in a medical imaging or radiology setting.
  • Commitment to patient-centered care, professional integrity, and continuous learning.
  • Must be board-certified

Responsibilities

  • Provide on-site radiology coverage at the 77 consultants facility in Clayton.
  • Interpret diagnostic imaging studies and communicate findings to referring physicians and treating teams.
  • Review patient history, clinical indications, and prior imaging to ensure appropriate study selection and protocols.
  • Perform and document diagnostic radiology examinations within the scope of practice and privileges.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare providers to support diagnosis and treatment planning.
  • Document findings accurately and completely thorough radiology reports.
  • Ensure compliance with radiation safety standards and operational policies.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives related to radiology services and patient outcomes.
  • Maintain a professional and ethical standard consistent with 77 consultants and medical practice expectations.
  • Manage clinical workload effectively within the contract schedule,and provide on-site availability as needed.
