A provider is exiting in January, creating a need for full-time anesthesiology coverage beginning in February for at least three months, with the possibility of extending the assignment to five or six months. The facility has two operating rooms, one shared with obstetric services, and manages approximately one to two deliveries daily. The case mix includes bread-and-butter procedures, gastrointestinal cases, straightforward orthopedic surgeries, general surgery, and obstetrics, but no cardiac surgeries. Pediatric cases primarily involve healthy patients or simple procedures. There are no Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists on-site, so the role has no supervisory responsibilities. Most call-backs are for epidurals and C-sections.
