Anesthesiologist
About The Position
USAP of North Florida is seeking 1099 Anesthesiologists to work at ambulatory surgery centers (ASCs) and/or Baptist Health hospitals throughout Jacksonville, Florida. The role offers independent-contractor work across multiple facilities, with a broad and diverse case mix and clinical support from a collaborative team of more than 50 physicians and 90+ anesthetists. Call is not required, though opportunities to take call are available. The practice is supported by an engaged USAP North Florida leadership team and operates within a physician-owned, physician-led national anesthesia organization focused on high-quality, patient-centered care. US Anesthesia Partners operates in nine states and provides anesthesia services in more than 1,000 inpatient and outpatient facilities, caring for over 2 million patients annually. Its local practices receive support through leadership development, OR staffing and utilization tools, quality and performance data, operational expertise, and a standardized patient experience.
Requirements
- M.D. or D.O. degree.
- Completion of an accredited Anesthesiology residency.
- Board-eligible or board-certified in Anesthesiology.
- Must meet all hospital credentialing requirements.

- Fellowship training may be required depending on the role.
- Interest in taking call; call opportunities are available but not required.
Responsibilities
- Provide anesthesia care at Baptist Health hospitals and/or ambulatory surgery centers throughout Jacksonville.
- Deliver high-quality, patient-centered anesthesia care across a broad and diverse case mix.
- Meet hospital credentialing requirements.
- Call is optional; opportunities to take call are available.
