About The Position

The Anesthesiologist provides clinical coverage in an ambulatory surgery center/in-office procedure suite and clinic or private practice in North Charleston, South Carolina. Coverage is supplemental and runs from October 19, 2026, through November 15, 2027. The role involves treating adult patients, with an expected volume of 25–30 cases per day and a case mix of interventional pain procedures and medication management. The clinician works Monday through Friday, eight hours per day, with no nights, weekends, or call. The facility uses eClinicalWorks and has fluoroscopy, an RF generator, and a procedure suite, with RN and MA support.

Requirements

• Active North Carolina license, or willingness to obtain one.
• Board certified or board eligible in Anesthesiology or Physiatry.
• Computer literacy and EHR proficiency.
• Strong communication and bedside manner.
• Ability to work as a team player; motivated.

Nice To Haves

• Interventional fellowship preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform interventional pain procedures, including epidural steroid injections, facet blocks, radiofrequency ablation, SI joint injections, joint injections, spinal cord stimulator trials, kyphoplasty, and nerve blocks.
• Manage medication-management patients with strict compliance monitoring, including drug testing and prescription monitoring.
• Conduct new patient consultations and follow-up visits.
• Use eClinicalWorks for documentation and patient records.
• Collaborate with support staff, including an RN, MA, and radiology technologist, in the in-office procedure suite.
