About The Position

Samaritan Health Services is seeking a General Anesthesiologist to join its hospital-employed practice in Corvallis, Oregon. The position offers an autonomous yet collaborative work environment, a collegial team, schedule flexibility, and opportunities for leadership advancement into a medical director role. The group includes 17 experienced anesthesiologists and works closely with surgeons, operating room staff, and administration.

The practice covers general, orthopedic, neurological, bariatric, gastrointestinal, vascular, trauma, urological, and obstetric surgeries. Full-time is defined as 220 shifts, with flexible shifts available to support work-life balance. Part-time and per-diem arrangements are also available.

Samaritan Health Services is a non-profit integrated health care system serving approximately 300,000 residents across Linn, Benton, Lincoln, and portions of Polk and Marion counties. Its network provides primary and specialty care throughout the mid-Willamette Valley and Central Oregon coast.

Requirements

• Possess excellent clinical skills.
• Possess excellent communication skills.
• Have a strong commitment to providing excellent, team-oriented care.
• Be ABA board certified or board eligible.

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesiology care for general, orthopedic, neurological, bariatric, gastrointestinal, vascular, trauma, urological, and obstetric surgeries.
• Work collaboratively with anesthesiologists, surgeons, operating room staff, and administration.
• Provide team-oriented patient care.
