About The Position
US Anesthesia Partners (USAP) is seeking a full-time Nighthawk Anesthesiologist to join its growing practice at AdventHealth Celebration. The physician will work alongside a collaborative team of physicians and anesthetists at a state-of-the-art facility and must be comfortable covering obstetrics, cardiac, neurosurgery, vascular, and general cases. The schedule is Friday through Sunday, 5 p.m. to 7 a.m., and is considered equivalent to a full FTE. Weekend holidays that are not selected as vacation will be worked. The role includes 10 weeks of annual vacation; vacation days may be given back, or weekday shifts volunteered for, for additional compensation. USAP is a network of physician-owned-and-led local anesthesia practices supported by nationwide resources, leadership development, OR staffing and utilization tools, business experts, quality data, and operational infrastructure. The position is based at AdventHealth Celebration in Celebration, Florida.
Requirements
- M.D. or D.O. with completion of an accredited anesthesiology residency.
- Board-eligible or board-certified in Anesthesiology.
- Cardiac fellowship training, or comfort and experience with cardiac cases.
- Must meet all hospital credentialing requirements.
Responsibilities
- Provide anesthesia coverage for obstetric, cardiac, neurosurgery, vascular, and general cases.
- Work the Friday-through-Sunday overnight schedule from 5 p.m. to 7 a.m.
- Work weekend holidays that are not selected as vacation.
Benefits
- Base salary of $500,000.
- Negotiable sign-on bonus of $25,000.
- $5,000 for each additional weekend worked.
- $300 per hour for give-back day shifts.
- 10 weeks of annual vacation.
- $2,500 CME allowance.
- Relocation assistance up to $10,000.
