Anesthesiologist
About The Position
An established healthcare system is seeking a full-time Anesthesiologist in Moultrie, Georgia. The role follows a Monday–Friday schedule beginning at 6:30 AM, with dismissal times varying as cases conclude. Weeknight home call is assigned on a 1:8 rotation, with no weekend call. The practice includes bread-and-butter anesthesia, including regional blocks, epidurals, and arterial lines; cardiac and neurosurgery cases are not performed. The anesthesia department handles approximately 700 cases monthly. The physician will join four board-certified anesthesiologists, with support from CRNAs and anesthesiologist assistants, in modern surgical facilities with advanced robotic technology.
Requirements
- MD or DO with a completed or upcoming Anesthesiology residency.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology.
- Georgia medical license or eligibility through the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact.
- Board-eligible candidates must obtain certification within five years.
Responsibilities
- Provide anesthesia care for bread-and-butter cases, including regional blocks, epidurals, and arterial lines.
- Participate in weeknight home call on a 1:8 rotation.
- Work a Monday–Friday schedule, beginning at 6:30 AM, with dismissal as cases conclude.
