About The Position

A Locker Room Attendant ensures the cleanliness, organization, and security of a locker room, assisting patrons with lockers, equipment, and answering questions, while maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for members and guests.

Requirements

Must be able to lift up to 50lbs as well as stand for extended periods of time.
Frequent standing, walking, lifting, bending, stooping, and squatting.
Friendly and approachable demeanor and able to communicate effectively.
Knowledge of cleaning procedures and safety protocols.
Ability to keep the locker room organized with efficiency.

Nice To Haves

While not always requires, a high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
Prior experience in customer service, retail, or sports related field preferred

Responsibilities

Greet and Assist members and guests.
Assign lockers and provide instruction on their use.
Maintain a clean and organized locker room, including restrooms and showers.
Restock towels, toiletries, and other supplies as needed.
Performs personal services, for example: shines shoes, replaces golf shoe spikes, etc.
Provides for the safety and security of all members' and guests' personal property.
Maintains inventory and supplies.
Transports towels to and from laundry area.
Maintains a current list of occupied lockers.
Cleans and empties garbage cans and baskets.
Cleans and maintains the steam room area and other special facilities and equipment in locker room.
Communicates supply needs to Housekeeping and Locker Room Manager.
Ensures all locker room standards are maintained.
Attend departmental meetings.
