About The Position

The Payments & Deposit Operations Representative I provides operational support and performs general to specialized transactions and other processing activities for the Operations function. The role communicates professionally with partners, demonstrates an understanding of their needs, and applies knowledge of TD products and processes. This is a fully onsite, part-time position in Mount Laurel, New Jersey, scheduled Monday through Friday from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM EST. Work is carried out within established guidelines and procedures, primarily involving routine transactions and day-to-day processes using a limited number of systems. The role has limited decision-making authority and escalates issues as appropriate.

Requirements

High school diploma.
Entry- or working-level knowledge of processes and procedures.
Ability to complete routine transactions and repetitive processes within standardized guidelines.
Ability to use a limited number of systems or applications and follow established procedures.
Professional communication and relationship skills when interacting with partners, colleagues, and customers.

Responsibilities

Execute transactions accurately, on time, and in accordance with established guidelines, procedures, and service-level agreements.
Refer or escalate processing and operational issues to the appropriate function or partner, and help maintain service quality.
Identify opportunities to improve service delivery and participate in process-improvement activities.
Support incoming partner transactions and validate information as needed to make authorized adjustments.
Respond to partner requests effectively and in a timely manner, using strong relationship and communication skills.
Complete assigned work to meet service and productivity requirements and support accurate, timely business processes.
Apply operating policies and procedures, maintain confidentiality, and escalate non-standard or high-risk activities when necessary.
Perform due diligence to support transaction accuracy and comply with the Bank Code of Conduct.
Participate as a team member, build operational knowledge, share improvement ideas, and take part in cross-training and development activities.
Keep colleagues informed about relevant day-to-day activities and contribute to a fair, positive, and equitable work environment.
